Every championship season begins with healthy student-athletes. The Nichols Sports Medicine team provides expert care to more than 500 student-athletes across 24 varsity programs, delivering injury prevention, emergency care, rehabilitation, and return-to-play services throughout the year. Gifts to Bison Blitz help fund advanced treatment and recovery equipment, modern rehabilitation technology, and facility enhancements that allow our athletic trainers to provide the highest level of care. Your support ensures every Bison has the resources to recover, perform, and compete at their best.

• Emergency response kits - standardized bags for each athletic venue so that in case of emergency, all necessary items are available and in a designated location. These bags will include items such as stop the bleed kits, glucometers, epi-pens.
   
• Recovery Room - Create a designated space in the athletic training room designated for athlete recovery. This will include zero gravity chairs, additional Normatec units, and heat wraps.
   
• Equipment maintenance and replacement - The athletic training room sees high volume throughout the year, and with continued use, our rehab equipment and modalities experience wear and tear. Help us continue to provide high quality medical care to all student-athletes.
