    Accepted Students Information Sessions

    LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM, ACCEPTED STUDENTS VIRTUAL EVENT

    This session's topic area is for all students and their families to learn more about Life Outside of the Classroom at Nichols College. Meet with members from the Nichols College Community including staff from Residence Life, Student Involvement, the Career and Professional Development Center, and Academic Advising to gain a well-rounded view of life here at Nichols. We will deliver this session on the Zoom video conferencing platform.

    STUDENT-ATHLETE EXPERIENCE SESSION, ACCEPTED STUDENTS VIRTUAL EVENT

    This session's topic area is for all students and their families to learn more about the Student-Athlete Experience at Nichols College. Hear from our Athletic Director, our athletic training staff, as well as from current Bison student-athletes themselves to understand what is it like to be a part of our athletic community. We will deliver this session on the Zoom video conferencing platform.

    GETTING YOUR BUSINESS DEGREE AT NICHOLS COLLEGE, ACCEPTED STUDENTS VIRTUAL EVENT

    This session's topic area is for all students and their families to learn more about Getting Your Business Degree at Nichols College. During this session, you will have the opportunity to hear all of the attributes that set our Business programs here at Nichols apart and have the chance to meet in smaller breakout groups with the chairs of each individual business program you may be interested in. We will deliver this session on the Zoom video conferencing platform.

    GETTING YOUR LIBERAL ARTS DEGREE AT NICHOLS COLLEGE, ACCEPTED STUDENTS VIRTUAL EVENT

    This session's topic area is for all students and their families to learn more about Getting Your Liberal Arts Degree at Nichols College. Learn what makes being a part of Nichol’s Liberal Arts College so unique and have the opportunity to meet with the chairs of each individual program you may be considering pursuing. We will deliver this session on the Zoom video conferencing platform.

    VIRTUAL MEET & GREET WITH ADMISSIONS, ACCEPTED STUDENTS VIRTUAL EVENT

    This session's topic area is for all students and their families to celebrate their Nichols College acceptance with the Office of Admission and current Student-Ambassadors, learn about next steps for committing/depositing, and get your questions answered to officially join The Nichols College 'Herd'.

    UNDERSTANDING YOUR FINANCIAL AID AWARD, ACCEPTED STUDENTS VIRTUAL EVENT

    Join the Nichols College Office of Admission and Office of Student Financial Services for an information session designed to help you understand your financial aid award. This is an opportunity for seniors and their families to hear from our Director of Financial Aid, Lindsay Louis, about the different types of financial aid your student received as a part of their award package from Nichols. We are here to help you navigate through this important process and answer any questions you may have!

    Class Shadow Day: Introduction to Justice Studies for Criminal Justice Interested Students

    The Criminal Justice program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge required for obtaining rewarding career opportunities in the public and private sectors. This specific course introduces students to the basic components of the Criminal Justice System including policing, the courts, and corrections. This class explores historical and emerging issues involved with the nature and measurement of crimes, patterns of offenders, and victimization. 

    Class Shadow Days: Sport Event Management for Sport Management Interested Students

    This course is designed to provide hands-on, practical involvement with a major sport event. Students will be assigned to committees for which they will plan, organize, publicize and manage all aspects of event operations during the semester. A required component of the course will include a commitment to work the actual event.

    Town Halls

    VIRTUAL PARENTS & FAMILIES TOWN HALL FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

    Town Halls are the perfect way for high school seniors and their families to connect directly with the Nichols College community. You’ll meet key players like Professors, Athletics staff, Financial Aid representatives, Admissions staff, and Student Affairs leadership. But more importantly, you’ll have a chance to speak directly with current students about their experience here on the hill, and you can ask real people all of your real questions. Join us to find out more about what Bison Pride is all about.
